As our membership year comes to an end, we have over 825 members with significant membership groups in Bend, Grants Pass, Roseburg, Eugene, Corvallis, Salem, Portland, Vancouver, Astoria, and Coos Bay.

Membership in Mensa means a variety of things to people. For some, it is an intentional family. For others it is a place to socialize with folks who "get your jokes," to discuss books and movies, or to dine on ethnic foods. Still others like being a card carrying member but choose not to go to events.

Mensa is the ultimate do-it-yourself matchmaking group. It provides the ability to engage others in your favorite activities—knowing that each time you meet, there is the potential for far-ranging conversation, quirky ideas, and inevitable puns and word plays. Match up with people who like foreign films, hiking, gourmet cooking, talking about raising smart kids, books, and games.

New Members

Welcome. You should start receiving The Mensa Bulletin - American Mensa's national journal, published 10 times a year, and The OMEN - Oregon Mensa's monthly newsletter - within about five weeks of joining.

You will want to sign up for or.a our e-mail announcements list. It will bring you weekly calendar reminders as well as updates on events someone thought up after the newsletter deadline. This includes things that come up at the last minute.

Mensa Admission Tests

Tests are given all over Oregon and Southwest Washington several times a year. Information and schedules are available from our Testing Coordinator.
